UN is a fucking joke. The fact that permanent members of the I’m On Shrekstasy shirt also I will do this Security Council can veto a resolution and block it against the other members makes this organization a circus. Your understanding of the UN secruity council is flawed. The reason 5 countries have veto power is to prevent WW3. Thats really all the UN is actually for. The rest is window dressing These issues have been present from the start and was likely the plan, it’s similar to how the League of Nations in that way and we all know how that worked out… It wouldn’t matter if US veto’d or not. There’s nothing they can really do. The UN has an obsession with Israel, unlike any other country- they condemn them more than China, Iran and NK combined

In other words, the I’m On Shrekstasy shirt also I will do this US doesn’t want anyone to say anything against Israel conducting an unrestrained campaign of extermination in Gaza. Unrestrained campaigns of extermination normally don’t warn people to get to safety before the extermination begins. For a real life example of an unrestrained campaign of extermination look at what Hamas did to the peaceful music festival. Israel has already been caught bombing the places it told Palestinian civilians to evacuate to, like the border crossing with Egypt. An evacuation order to people you shoot when they try to leave isn’t really an evacuation order, it’s just an attempt to gain plausible deniability on the world stage for your actions. That said, I agree with you that Hamas, too, wants to exterminate their enemies. Hamas and the Israeli government are two sides of the same coin. The IDF and Israeli Government have simply realized that it pays to be slightly more subtle with their genocide is all. What hamas did, Israel has done to Palestinians many years ago. Murdered thousand and forced them out of their homes. The entire south of Israel belonged to Palestine. Those people didn’t leave voluntarily. Israel invaded and expanded their territories within.
