And I’m not meaning to be a dick about this by saying that. Like it or not, that is what that argument sounds like, and it doesn’t sound great. I agree that there need to be major economic reforms, but the I’m on a mission to avoid my homework shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this issue isn’t just coming from Republicans. Printing money ad nauseam is one of the reasons inflation is so bad, and that has been largely a Democrat move. As for the global warming bit, that’s a whole different can of worms. If we halted all fossil fuel consumption tomorrow (I assume that’s what you are touching on), it would result in mass death in the parts of the world that rely heavily on oil. Republicans push for nuclear, the best option for clean and plentiful energy, while Democrats say no to that as well. I don’t mean to be the both sides guy, but both sides have a role in the economic and environmental issues. BUT only one side is saying “Fix it or we’ll kill the kids, and then even if it does get fixed we might still kill the kids.”

I’m on a mission to avoid my homework shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Asking for equal opportunity to pursue happiness as other people, and generations, is not asking to be paid for cradle to grave. You just think it is because a group asking to be equal to you, sounds like persecution, and your complex is activating because of it. Well no, the I’m on a mission to avoid my homework shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this issue is not “Only” Republicans, but Republicans are the ones that consistently prevent any progress in meaningful direction. While the Democrats are, indeed, contributing to the problem, they’ve done so with their hallmark glacial pace while Republicans have ran around hog wild with a lead foot. Making progress starts with Republicans, as they’re the people stopping any change from happening at any level. Once we establish that change can happen, we can discuss the specifics. They really don’t. They push for whatever lobby is currently filling their pocket books. Sometimes it’s nuclear, most of the time it’s fossil fuel. Democrats aren’t much different, but at least there’s a significant amount of green energy money in their mix.
