Like, the I’m Not Angry This is just My Face Black Cat shirt What’s more,I will buy this game itself might be completely the same whether you play a male or female knight; but in my head, the female knight may have a very different persona and history that are fun to play out. In third person perspective games I would rather look at the back of a lady for 20+ hours then the back of a dude. Because in almost all games the main type of NPC and enemies are men, and in almost all games the female player has a perk or two which grants huge stats boost over males, Or they have perks which makes the game easier. I asked a friend this once and he replied “if I’m gonna be staring at someone’s rear end for hours, it may as well be this female avatar I made.” There’s a chance the dude on the other side is getting pissed because he got merk’d by a girl and my handle isn’t particularly masculine In class based games or hero shooters like valorant I play whoever has a kit or playstyle I resonate with the most, regardless of gender. My friend explained it best. You’re playing a game for hundred of hours staring at your char’s ass running. What do you want to see? A guys ass or a girls for those hours? Male here. I enjoy playing as a gal because the outfits are usually more creative and I prefer to see the backside of a female more than a male.

If a game looks good I will play it regardless of the I’m Not Angry This is just My Face Black Cat shirt What’s more,I will buy this gender of the character I’m playing. If I have a choice between genders, sometimes it’s intriguing to get another perspective on things, so I’ll play the gender I’m not (and then do a playthrough of the gender I am). I can’t speak on single player games. But for multiplayer first person shooters, the woman’s hit boxes are smaller than the larger men’s avatars. Which is actually an unfair advantage. When it comes to MMORPGs, guys like to masquerade as women to get free stuff and attention from orbiters. If given the option I usually go with whoever has the better voice actor performance. Fem Shep on Mass Effect all day for me If it’s a story based game I’m usually curious how or if they changed the dialog and stuff for the female protagonist. I’m playing Star Ocean 6 right now as the female protagonist but as often happens, the male protagonist is still in charge most of the time. Still, it’s interesting to see the little things they try to do to give her more agency and stuff.
