I’m lucky that I was already introverted prior to the I’m literally just Lane Thomas shirt but in fact I love this pandemic and I didn’t lose anybody nor did it affect my mental state at all. But everything outside of my own bubble has only gotten worse around me. Either it’s gotten worse, or I only started to realize how terrible it all was as I’ve gotten older. Easily could be both. Mix it all with my own personal struggles and life has grown difficult. I was already deep into the planning stages of suicide BEFORE Covid. I’ve grown bitter inside since. You’re always stuck deep in your own head when contemplating suicide. And I knew I was back then. It was the biggest thing holding me back from an attempt. The hope that things were better than I thought they were.

Only to realize it was a lie. I’ve already struggled with the I’m literally just Lane Thomas shirt but in fact I love this will to continue on. Now I’ve to live in the current economic and political climate? There’s a reason there are so many doomers. Especially young ones. It’s always been like that, th e pandemic just made us realise how stupid we are as a society. 100 years from now my grandkids will feel sorry for how stupid we reacted to the whole event. The “remakes and reboots only” thing started before the pandemic. It certainly accelerated during/after the pandemic. I think streaming has a lot to do with it. Theater attendance was already on the decline, so studios were less willing to take risks on new ideas. Existing IP and stories have not-quite-guaranteed customer base. Then the theaters were shuttered.

The reliance on retreading old ideas has gotten worse, and the I’m literally just Lane Thomas shirt but in fact I love this money for that is drying up too, people are tiring of it. The test worked. Nobody has unpacked the trauma of what occurred over those 3 years. We try to pretend that everything is fine and “back to normal”. We were literally at war with capitalism for a while. The world has gone nuts, and as usual, we lead the pack. Americans, that is. Its embarrassing. I have become a hermit. I don’t like it, but I don’t see it changing anytime soon. Its sad and makes me angry. And yes, its worse now. Socializing ( and learning to) is not something that benefits from goddamn cell phones. Yup. Cell phones are a huge reason these kids are so fucked up.

It hasn’t gotten better since the pandemic, but it started years before it. It’s not the pandemic, I think we’ve hit a technological barrier in progress, and a lot of companies that we’ve relied on have become monopolistic/oligopolistic and we’re paying the price. Farming/food has stagnated and the grocery store and farming legs have all amalgamated. Things suck cause it’s not worth it to try anymore in a lot of industries. It’s different in tech cause competition still exist and they have to compete for your attention I wfh now more or less full time post pandemic and my face to face human interaction has gone down exceedingly. Sure, a lot of games are buggy. There are just tons of games released these days and some percentage of them are not gonna be good. But all games?

This has been happening since at least 2016.I got a pair of Blundstones last year and they really did change everything for me. I wear them almost everywhere and now spurn any shoe that isn’t a wider toe box. Since moving to Philly recently I’m walking a lot more and I consistently reach for these over my Adidas Ultraboosts (which I actually hate, it turns out. Not particularly trendy but they go with a lot and I foresee them lasting a long time. I have Blundstones I bought in 2016 still going strong to this day (just with new insoles, they tend to get gross and curled up). Now I own three pairs and wear them almost 7 days a week. I’ve hiked in them, walked all over NYC, worked 16 hours days on my feet. They’re the I’m literally just Lane Thomas shirt but in fact I love this absolute best boots. Can’t recommend enough.
How are your soles? I’ve had mine since 2016 and worn them nearly everyday since and my soles have started falling off in chunks. Based on my minimal research I don’t think they’re able to be resoled either… Soles are worn down but definitely not falling off in chunks or anything close to that. Just very worn down and smooth from hiking etc. Buttt definitely rotate in other boots and shoes especially as the I’m literally just Lane Thomas shirt but in fact I love this years went by and I was gifted two more pairs. Sounds like it might just be time to replace yours. It could be worth having a cobbler look at them and give an opinion on resoling though if your uppers are in good shape. Where I live in Canada pretty much everyone is wearing Blundstones all winter long. You should see the shoe pile by the door when someone has a party – it’s hilarious. It takes ages to find yours! I completely agree! They’re a little spendy but the cost per wear for my blundstones make them (by far) my most frugal boots.
My Blundstones are my go-to boot for the I’m literally just Lane Thomas shirt but in fact I love this fall and winter! I have the dress boots in black and they go with pretty much anything, I can walk for miles in them. No complaints. If you’re looking for even comfier (but kinda ugly) wide toe box boots, I’ve been wearing keen Targhee hiking boots EVERYWHERE because I do a ton of walking. I wear my blundstones for short walks to dinner or bars but when I’m walking all over my city I reach for my ugly ass hiking boots and I don’t regret it one bit I actually just bought a less ugly style of keen hiking boot (the Pyrenees) because they are so comfy and these look at least a little better with jeans. But I can’t stop wearing them. The best shoes ever for walking miles and miles I’ve also worn my Blundstones almost exclusively since getting them! There are some dressier options if you order from their actual site. I have the shiny lace up ones and I think they’re actually pretty cute by most standards!
