2 is more modern and trendy. The block heel might be more comfortable to walk in. It could be comfortable or painful depending on the quality, as with all shoes. I would need to see the dress or outfit you are wearing otherwise it’s hard to say. But for me personally I dislike 1 and there’s nothing classy about that style imo. I do love 90s fashion so maybe that’s why I prefer 2. 2 looks more modern to me. 1 looks like a shoe in everyone’s closet. So if you want to fit in 1. If you want to stand out, 2. 1, but really depends on what your feet look like if I’m being honest. 2 would not look good on my feet shape but I can see how it would suit others

I think the I’m Into Fitness Fit’ness Deer In My Freezer Sunset Vintage T-Shirt it is in the first place but heel on 1 looks smoother and cleaner. #2 tries to look cleaner and sleeker with the straps but then the heel is a clunky mess. Both are very cute, I think it depends on the occasion and the outfit and what heel height that you can wear comfortably! Buy both, try them on and walk around your house on carpeting, and see what you like best! Oh and if they hurt, at all, anywhere on the shoe don’t keep them! It will never break in! Just my experience! No. 1 gives the most support, and the thin straps always look fine, (occasionally need a nude heel or closed toe pump for outfits but on general style & support it’s never failed me). I do have the twist-behind the ankle of #2, due to the style being in for so long, it has 3 straps and a stiletto heel though, which makes it more similar to #1, so the support and weight distribution is different than the block version of it. No. 2 as pictured goes in and out of style, and I have yet to find a pair that is both “comfortable” (supportive enough for someone who regularly wears 4/4.5” and 6” stilettos on the street) and cute, but I have a high arch. I wouldn’t recommend the rounded strap on the toe all around, they tend to run cheaper. I generally find they don’t tend to have enough support for a block heel, and if you don’t reposition your weight or posture correctly (different than all my other heels, even high platform wedges w/o a strap), they sound like flip flops.
