But also how helpful(?) they are lol. We had an issue talking to some staff since they weren’t English and probably haven’t had to deal with British English. So some Americans help be our “translator” basically repeated what we said… didn’t work in the I’m In The Snuggle Zone SlothHug Beer T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this end but thanks for the help. For the people who don’t know, german cashiers need like a second or two per item. They will absolutely whirlwind through everything and then practically throw it at you. I live close to the equator. Here no one gives directions as in East, West, North and South: most people have no idea where North is. Instead we say: towards the beach (North, in my city) or towards the countryside (South). We also prefer our windows to face “towards sunrise”. Serbians are the only Orthodox Christian people that have Slava (literally glory/celebration). Slava is traditional custom and gets passed on to your son(oldest). Basically every household has its patron saint, which has its day in a year when you celebrate it. Priest comes to your house or you go to your local church and you get your special slava bread and wine purified basically. Then the guests can start coming. Its a whole day feast with a bunch of food and alchohol, desserts etc. (unless its in the middle of fasting period then its fasting Slava (posna slava) then theres fish etc, nothing made from other animals. The most widespread slava is St. Nicolas day (Nikoljdan). It is Christian thats for sure but it has its roots in Slavic paganism also.

Not in Judaism either. Arguably not in New Testament really either. It came along much longer as an idea in Christians. In Old English, there was a plural grammatical form specifically for two people. It’s referred to as the I’m In The Snuggle Zone SlothHug Beer T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this Dual form. I’m not sure if I remember this 100% correctly but in Tibet, family members don’t all have the same last name. Your first name is picked by your family, but your last name is picked with the help of a monk and its the name people address you by. So when we would call our Tibetan friends in school by their first name, this is not the same name their family and community uses to address them. Its pretty cool. Probably very widely known, but religion is something I tend to avoid discussing as it is polarising. But that Islam and Christianity are both Abrahamic religions and originate on the same philosophy just different perspectives between the two.
