I had a doctor (ob) tell me I probably had endometriosis and that if I just had a kid, I wouldn’t be in as much pain. It was also heavily imied that this is what happens when I choose to not have kids. Finally found a doctor willing to give a 24 year old exploratory surgery. Turns out it was chronic appendicitis and a bunch of cysts reacting with that. Took about an hour in surgery and I was no longer chronically ill. Previous ob (a friend of a parent) found out about my new diagnosis and basically shat all over that doctor and her practices, citing that it wasn’t the I’m Gonna KMS Funny shirt Besides,I will do this issue and she probably made a medical mistake. I really hate how woman are treated for any post birth complications. And how were expected to smile and get on with it.
