It is either “too lean” or “too rich” to burn. Most ranges have burners that produce 500 to 12,000 BTU/hr. The largest I’ve seen in residential use is 18,000 BTU/hr. That’s exceptionally large, but let’s use it for a conservative estimate. To produce 18000 BTU requires 17.35 cubic feet of gas per hour. Times three hours, that’s 52 cubic feet of gas.
