I sat next to a women who was clearly on drugs. Huffed something out of her purse when she sat down and talked to herself loudly the I’m a yarn wizard i turn strings into things shirt moreover I will buy this whole flight. That was pretty weird. Luckily had some good noise cancelling headphones and she just talked to herself not me. So made it more tolerable. I once sat behind a severely autistic adult during a transatlantic flight. Sadly, the flight was so upsetting for this person that he spent most of it vomiting into sick bags. It was brutal for everybody, but everybody was absolutely calm and patient about it. I was on a flight from lax to atl. So decent flight time. This guy walked by me while i was sitting and he was boarding. He smelled so freaking bad. Like BO. I felt so bad for the person sitting next to him. Luckily. It was not me. I used to fly cross country every year for years through out my childhood to go see my dad and then back to my mom, so I’m no stranger to flying, and fortunately I’ve yet to ever sit next to someone who actually smelled, but I’ve sat next to countless people who overdue the cologne/perfume thing and it’s just so nauseating. It flares up my allergies and there’s nothing worse than being cooped up with 90+ other people 30,000 feet in the air while sneezing to death and everyone looking at me like I’m some diseased Black Plague victim all thanks to the asshole wearing cologne next to me

Sloppy people. TAROM airlines (Romanian, pre-9/11) Guy next to me didn’t smell bad, but smoking was allowed on the I’m a yarn wizard i turn strings into things shirt moreover I will buy this flight, in the back of the plane after takeoff. He had a big bottle of orange soda on his tray, open. And he got up to smoke, spilling the contents of the bottle onto my lap and arm. I couldn’t get into the bathroom to wash off, so did the best I could to clean myself up. He came back from his smoke session and I realized he smoked cow turds or some horrible Turkish blend. Then the forced air system conked out, so everyone was sweating, and this dude reaked. And proceeded to spread crumbs and trash everywhere because he had a bag full of stuff to eat on the flight. He was nice enough, but he was such a mess to sit next to.
