Sadly, most have kids that never visit. It’s mainly friends who visit. Until they die…. Then these kids come out of the I’m a quilting sister just like a normal sister except much cooler T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this woodwork to argue over inheritance. Older people who do have kids/grandkids, often don’t see them that much anyway. One of my neighbors has a couple of grown kids and a bunch of grandkids, the kid closest by is a piece of work in a lousy marriage; the one further away she doesn’t get to see much, due to the husband not wanting to drive anymore, and she is afraid to. She’ll visit and describe all this stress in her family, then asks me how I can spend so much time alone. I’m like, “everything you just described!! I LOVE being alone!” I used to volunteer at a nursing home with my dog. You would be surprised how many people do not get visits from their children. It is sad.

Retirement and nursing homes will be *lit and full of people with and without kids. I don’t believe being alone on a cold night is anything to worry about. STD’s are high in retirement communities *so clearly not a lot of people are alone. I’m facing that now. Sorry to say: it is indeed awful. But when I look around at how fucked up my extended family’s kids are? I feel much better. Enjoying life doesn’t necessarily mean traveling and concerts and festivals and exotic vacations. If you think like that then you’ll defined not enjoy it. It can mean hanging out with friends, hobbies and having great memories of your youth. Your life and enjoyment doesn’t end when you’re no longer able to do all this I’m a quilting sister just like a normal sister except much cooler T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this super active things. It just changes. Make other plans. Don’t go “I’m now old/when I’m old, all I can do is sit at home and wait for visits”. Don’t limit yourself. To put it blunty, I love sex, spare time, spontaneous adventures and money too much to ever give it up. My Wife and I have a wonderful life together that’s focused on us, our career progression and our menagerie. A child would be an unwanted burden that would add nothing but take away alot of what we have built for ourselves.
