I’m SUPER curious as to what your opinion on the Illusion Blocks Black and White T-Shirt but in fact I love this SCOTUS leak about Roe v Wade is. I’m sure it’s mind-numbingly frustrating to read and exceptionally hypocritical. Does “the left” think what is OK? The CDC bought the data legally, just like every other company every other day. You just got caught not reading beyond the clickbait headline. You can’t after 2+ years seriously be doubting how serious this virus is? Where’s your sources for the 6% of deaths were from Covid only? Did you not see in 2020 the cities having the hospitals overran with patients and having to get trucks for the dead since there was no place to put them? All while the tabacoo and alcohol industry kills 11 million people annually. 2 years covid has claimed 6 million. The tabacoo and alcohol industry has killed 22 million in that time frame. Stop trying to control people. If your neighbor doesn’t want to do something that you want him to do, then you’re the problem. Stop trying to infringe on peoples lives. Live and let live. If people are able to eat McDs get fat and die while feeding their children the same shit and are able to drink and smoke their life way, then by God they should be allowed to not wear a mask or have a chemical compound forced inside their blood stream. I mean, honestly. You can only control yourself. So protect yourself. Do not beat others into submission until you feel safe around them. That isn’t freedom.

The trouble with that argument is that we live in a massively interconnected society. And the Illusion Blocks Black and White T-Shirt but in fact I love this best way for such a society to work is to temper freedom with human decency and personal responsibility. Failing human decency and personal responsibility, we have laws. We’ve been doing it this way for generations. We have tons of restrictions no one bats at an eye at. Other vaccines to attend public school. Seat belt laws. Licenses required to drive cars or practice medicine. Food safety standards. This list goes on and on. Masks / vaccines are a hot button issue mostly just because the media and politicians wanted to manufacture outrage. If you want the benefits of living in a society, you really should do your part to not hurt its members, and that includes taking reasonable, if inconvenient, measures to stop the spread of a disease.
