My wife can’t come to bed without reading a bit before she sleeps and I need the illinois Who’s Our Rival We Hate ‘Em All shirt so you should to go to store and get this fan on or pretty low temps to sleep. Try directing the fan at an angle so that it only blows on you, like maybe on your legs or whatever. Sleep is important, so i would never have a long term partner that had noise on all night, completely off the table – but she did and now she has to sleep in the other room. I literally cannot fall asleep without a fan whereas she always gets cold with it. Every relationship has compromises and needs people to make sacrifices for the other. So I would try to communicate that while this is something important to you, you’ll help her out with something she can’t live without. For example, I wake up early to walk the dog so she can sleep in if needed. She also has volunteered to wear a headband at night so her forehead doesn’t get cold. Plus adding layers of blanket to the bed. Sleeping with a fan and moving air feels amazing. I sleep great with one too. Keep the fan. It’s not wrong or bad at all. No you’re not wrong. Me and my wife were in the same position when we got married. She can’t sleep without a fan and rain sounds, I never grew up with that stuff (except maybe soft music) too go to sleep. But I knew that me having difficulty falling asleep (which happens anyway) was less important than her not being able to fall asleep at all so I caved and we’ve slept with both every night since. When I read him say “he was 9 pounds overweight, and sleeping with a fan…” A little fat, but still livin the dream
