If I were you I’d go the If you still support biden your IQ is probably approval numbers shirt But I will love this next day and get up close to every single staff member and give them one long “HEYYYYYYYYYYYYY” breathing as heavily and loudly as I can and without taking any breathe. I know its shitty but sometimes a lesson is gotta be taught. With the money spent in previous generations we should get everything we want. Where did it all go? We suppose to just imagine it disappeared? I’d screenshot and print out these comments and the next day I’m in and give them my two weeks and the screenshots. You did the right thing and called 2 DAYS before a shift of yours to let them know your not going to be there due to illness. Shit like this is so unencouraging to younger people. I am currently in a situation of needing to move out of my mother’s house and have applied for countless jobs with majority of them never reaching back out for me, and I think it’s all because of my age. Plus, how or older people in the future going to have experience if you didn’t let them work when they were young? The entitlement of business owners and bosses is astounding. They believe that their employees should voluntarily suffer for the benefit of the business. Also, it’s just sad that older generations believe that it’s virtuous to be so poor or money hungry that you would sacrifice your health, safety, family, etc for work. Two days before your shift? Thats enough time for manager to secure someone to cover for you. Its (or should be) their job.

Every age group displays entitlement, Grandma thinks she’s entitled to a free car if her order gets messed up, my generation thinks we’re entitled to a lifestyle that beats barely scraping by while earning our bosses more money than God. These are the If you still support biden your IQ is probably approval numbers shirt But I will love this same people that had to be given PSAs to remind them to hug their children and to make sure they knew where their children were at 9pm, 10pm, and 11pm. Covid has proven people shouldn’t be forced into work when ill. No one should feel guilty about taking sick days. Love when Boomers who’ve had everything handed to them their whole lives encounter someone not willing to cater to their every whim and complain about other people being entitled Also coming from the generation that put work before their family, friends, themselves etc… doing untold damage to these same young people they are shit talking. SMH ?‍♂️ Boomers can’t wrap their heads around not wanting to be a slave to a system designed to make and keep you a slave. They also don’t understand what a gig economy is, crypto, NFT, “side hustle”, WFH, The internet at large, the fact you can make money “through” a computer. Like, they can say they understand, but they really don’t. My boss isn’t young. He’s not super old but he’s gotta be around 50+. Yesterday I went to the office only for him to tell me to go back home and work remotely because I had a cold. I realize most people aren’t like him, but I’m glad people like him exist lol I’m worried about future generations, too. Everyone being expected to work while sick will spread the sickness then when it gets bad enough people will friggin’ DIE because for some outdated reason everyone’s expected to clock in at least 40 hours no matter what.
