Same man, same. I was there yesterday and had a 2 hour chat with that awesome friendly girl. I originally posted that omegle wasn’t P2P but thats false, apparently Omegle video chat was P2P but Omegle text chat wasn’t. Maybe that’s part of the cost? Also i imagine some kind of moderation team may have driven up the cost.

IP is defs exposed, every p2p webRTC requires public IP connection is known by the peer. So that is how dudes can tell you the town you live in (not the house that would require ISP so dont worry) without much work (just some javascript to redefine the webRTC connection initiation/initialization function code to console log the headers which has the peers public IP. Is this really bad news? Idk its just approx location and VPN or onion routing will fix that anyways. But yeah I have been tracking public IPs on omegle for pranks since day 1. Its messed up but fun to scare kids who shouldnt be on there by saying shit like “police from [insert small town name] are being dispatched to your house now”.
