So not saying they were right or wrong, just that there can be situations deviant “solutions” may be useful. It also makes me look at houses with plastic lawn differently and wonder what sins it may be hiding. It blows my MIND it’s rise unpopularity. In this day an age when majority of people are understanding we need to do more for the If you don’t like Houston Texans merry kissmyass santa claus shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this environment. But it seems to be becoming the norm. I’d rather see a jungle of uncut grass or hell a muddy patch with some pot plants than uniform ugly fake grass. It’s absolutely horrific. I don’t like fake grass but I also don’t like the idea of putting a blanket ban on it. Seems to me too authoritarian for our government to dictate how gardens are used in that way. Personally I would prefer to see council tax increased by 5% for houses with gardens and offer a series of discounts for people who use their gardens environmentally. Like ~2.5% for those who use their gardens for real grass, ~2.5% for those who grow their own veg, maybe a % or two for those who are willing to plant and maintain certain target species

Ban it. Completely unnecessary, absolute eyesore, awful for the If you don’t like Houston Texans merry kissmyass santa claus shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this environment. Literally anything else is a better alternative. Fine for sports pitches though. If my hay fever was as bad when I was a kid I’d fight to have fake grass, and if not I’d have concreted my whole garden. I hate the stuff. I know it has its practical uses but I despise the use of it in back gardens and the like. So unnecessary and so bad for nature. Yes ban it on ground floor gardens, but not roof top gardens or where it is on concrete that’s fine in small areas. People ought to stop whining about fake grass on small plots of land when there’s actual fields and forests kicking about. Just let people get on with it. It can look really nice I think. When there’s a lot of colourful plants around to take your eyes off the flat green of the fake grass really helps. I think it’s great for old people. Sometimes it’s hard to push a mower you know? General care of potted plants it’s too physically intensive though So I see fake grass in gardens with beautiful plants and it looks good because the grass isn’t the focal point. I have to admit I did look at getting fake grass at one point, but I immediately said no when I learnt how more more is involved maintaining it and I thought what’s the point. So glad I didn’t. There’s very different types and its important not to ban the types sometimes used for football and rugby pitches, for example.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
