Target will be fine, and these boycott/buycott campaigns generally have a very short term impact on the Ice Nine Kills ’91 Meat & Greet Staring Vs. Buffalo Bills Game Day shirt besides I will buy this more fundamental thing for business outlook, which is impact on sales and revenue While it won’t have a long-lasting effect, it is a temperature read on how people feel about actions they take. When it hurts the financial picture they take more notice than when it doesn’t. Does anyone who isn’t rich actually care when we don’t have enough money to go to the hospital or buy food or have kids? Investors probably worry that all the press MAY affect Target’s income so they are selling their stock and it is, in turn, that is driving down the price. That being said, the transphobic community didn’t cause Target to lose $9B in revenue, just in market value. And market value can change from week to week. All I know is Walmart has their shit together and is leaving Target in the dust. Every walmart I go into has nothing but self checkouts and hardly any lines. I’m in and out when I go to WM while Target has huge lines with long wait. Megacorps suck the blood out of any semblance of capitalism in its purest form, so I humbly accept targets market value loss and wish this would happen to more megacorps. Target’s market cap is still 64 billion. They’re at the same market cap they were about a year ago. This isn’t really a story.

I couldn’t give a shit less. I think Americans (I am one) get attached to whatever they can be offended by. Whatever they can boycott. This country is a disaster. Companies need to stick with selling a product/service and stay out of the Ice Nine Kills ’91 Meat & Greet Staring Vs. Buffalo Bills Game Day shirt besides I will buy this political shitshow. They will not win. “Market Value” is more pretend than even US $ are right now. It’s not a real thing – it’s an illusion. It’s clouds – something that represents a mix of conditions, and seems real enough, but isn’t really there except as those conditions. Clouds indicate temperature, pressure, and water vapor :: Market Value indicates analyst opinion, investor confidence, and to some degree money supply and the overall economy. It’s all a shell game – and unless you’re a member of the 1% – or more likely the 0.1% – who actually own most of the US “currency,” it’s dramatically unimportant. You aren’t in the game. I mean $9B is not that big of a deal. I don’t care unless they start closing stores or close my RedCard then I’m pissed. Sucks to suck, I hate it when the big company I don’t care about loses money tsk tsk maybe they’ll do better business practices and- oh what am I saying they’ll do the same shit and lose more money again lol Meh. I don’t like the shopping experience. Targets around here are short on cashiers, so the checkout experience is just as terrible.
