Oh in my case, it was a cross-country trip in the I Will Drink Coffee Here Or There I Will Drink Coffee Everywhere Dr Seuss T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this U.S. I’m from the East Coast and had my car break down – permanently – in Arizona. I imagine for you, circumstances of things going awry wouldn’t be quite the same, because it almost certainly won’t be car-related. Why don’t you just keep your car at your parents house while you travel? Is this your first time abroad? You MAY hate it or become homesick within a month or two I’d live cheap in SEA and try to live on less than 4k. Then I’d use the saved money to go to Japan and South Korea for a while, then potentially Europe if you’re thinking on going for 6+ months. Eastern Europe is cheaper than the west and imo more fun. South America could also be a good trip. I’m currently planning a trip to colombia and it seems very affordable.

Eastern Europe, places like Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Dubrovnik, and Bratislava are all really cool and much cheaper than places like Spain and Italy. I went to Europe with $400 when I was 19 and lived there for a few years, crazy great times. You can travel a lot on $4k a month, – you should think carefully what you’re doing and who you hang with when you do travel. Keep yer cards close to yer chest brother, maybe look for work when you can, it’s nice to stay in one place for awhile. US military bases are a good place to look for work overseas. Good luck. You should go on a short trip or two. It will help you figure out what you need, your travel style, etc. Jumping straight into a long travel is an easy way to get burned out, frustrated, homesick, and spend extra money. You also need to check visa rules. Also, just because countries are right next to each other, doesn’t mean flights are cheaper than flying a bit longer. Use google flights and look at options.
