As much as DS3 was very difficult/annoying to replay, over and over, I kind of miss the I went from dada to daddy to dad to bruh shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this 1-per-playthrough quests with rewards specific to quest choices. Yeah, the quests were obtuse, but for someone who wants all the items and endings it’s an excellent way to get me to replay the game. Elden Ring I beat, all achievements unlocked, but I’m still missing a couple of the quests – Selen/patches/dung eater – I think that’s it. There’s only a couple A or B choice quests per playthrough. I want to go through NG+, I even have a new build, but I’m kind of waiting for some bugged/unfinished quests to be completed. World building sticks too close to the dark souls formula. I honestly really really really want to be able to walk into a village/town and be greeted by friendly townspeople, vendors, civilians, and other quest givers. I’m honestly really tired of this “welcome to a post apocalyptic world where everyone wants to kill you” vibe. To name a few : Torrent needs skins, map should have an option to make personal marks blink for removal, ashes of war need to be toned down, there should be an item for invations across the map not on current only to make them faster, NG+ should increase bosses speed and the amount of enemies, quest log (also more npcs).

Im an idiot but I would like to see ashes of war weaker overall and some late game bosses made easier to compensate. I feel there could be a more unique WA for it. Crossbows and staves deserve weapon arts too. Crossbows can easily use the same weapon arts as bows. Staves should be able to use the mist and maybe Carian Greatsword weapon arts too. The open world music is really not good. I had to turn volume down so the droning music didn’t irritate me constantly. Some enemies that aren’t even bosses are harder than bosses they are defending and have massive amounts of health, too. Wish the combat was a little more deep. It’s good and all, but I wish there was more combos reminiscent of Monster Hunter. Although, there’s rarely ever an opening for more than a few hits against an enemy that you would combo on. So maybe no criticism in the end? ‘Remove all markers’ doesn’t get rid of the blue waypoints, and it’s tedious hunting down the ones I missed on the other side of the map The game after morgott just feels repetitive and stale. For the vast majority of the game I never used spirit summons, until the snowfield and beyond. I just wanted to get it over with at that point. That really made the final boss fight boring, since my mind was basically off at that point.
