If you’re diverting them from something our contractors do like through service connect you’re definitely going to get in trouble. It’d be a conflict of interest to give them your buddy’s number. There’s also a clear policy against soliciting on HD property. If you tell a customer anything, they would hold it against you… friend of mine had that issue… was not fun for him… customer went home and did it wrong and blamed him… context customer didn’t follow the I Run On Coffee And Christmas Cheer T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this directions but that didn’t matter People question my advice and I have to tell them I use to install flooring for 4 years and then ask if I can come and help I tell them plain and simple it’s a violation of home depot’s policies by creating a conflict of interest which at that point they ask what I mean and I just say “oh I’ll be fired if I install any for you” Had one of these recently: lady bought a open box window A/C unit. 18k so 220v plug. She was holding a replacement 110 v plug and wanted to know if that was what she needed to put on it to plug into her outlet. She would NOT accept my answer or my plea to call an electrician.

She was a small lady and was so proud she’d managed to get that thing in her window by herself. But then she shows me the I Run On Coffee And Christmas Cheer T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this metal part that goes on top to hold it in place. It’s bent a bit (open box, got a great deal) so needs a new one. After I told her we wouldn’t have that part and I suggested just bringing it back for a refund, she asked if I was coming over to take it out for her. This! I worked in D26 for five years and had to tell a customer from time to time that I was not a professional plumber. Several people seemed shocked and even became angry. …And here I was under the impression that only licensed electricians were allowed to work in D27, and anyone without the relevant product knowledge and work history was forbidden from giving electrical advice to customers (we can look up product and help them find it, just not advise them on usage) because, and I quote from a previous store I worked at a few years ago, “if the customer turns their house into an r/ElectroBOOM post, and it gets back to them that it was the result of advice given by a store associate, the store is fully liable, and the associate’s luck is going to turn terrible”. But… why would a former electrician, making bank, give it up and work here??? They want to do it themselves for 1/10 – 1/20th the cost of hiring a pro and they are incredibly underqualified to do so.
