You could even refuse entry to gay people to, say, your heterosexual couple’s sexual therapy class if you wanted to. “We reserve the I Realize That We’re Not Biologically Related Poop shirt and by the same token and right to refuse service” doesn’t even need to be written down on a sign anywhere, despite many places doing exactly that. I can refuse you service just because I don’t like the look of you, that I think you’re a pain in the arse, or because I’ve decided I’m shutting early tonight. It’s a business, not enslavement. I was in two car accidents over the course of two years. Was found not at fault for both. My insurance didnt have to pay out anything, but the accidents still went on my record with them (i.e. accident claims were filed). Lots. Bars, buffets, strip clubs, etc. It is VERY easy to “overstay your welcome” and be asked to leave a business merely for doing what people go there to do.Restaurants will often ask people to leave who have overstayed their welcome. They advertise themselves as places you can come and socialize while eating food. Because they want you to come and purchase their food. But if you stay too long, you are taking up a spot that could be given to other paying customers while you yourself aren’t really purchasing anything more, and you will sometimes be asked to leave. It’s the I Realize That We’re Not Biologically Related Poop shirt and by the same token and same concept. Once you start making them lose money rather than make money, they ask you to leave, even if all you are doing is essentially what they advertise as their service.
