It’s been happening for a long time. Conservatives love talking about government overreach, small/limited government, personal freedom/liberty and all that, buy they’re the I MAy Not Be a Biologist But I Know I’m A Woman Shirt but in fact I love this ones creating laws based on what they deem moral or immoral. As a Christian it genuinely pisses me off that 90% of us refuse to acknowledge that abortions should be legal. There will ALWAYS be reasons why abortions are the best course of action and quite frankly forcing someone who isn’t financially stable or mentally capable of having a kid does WAY more harm than good for everyone involved. If any of the kids are reading this – your activism is extremely important. The reason old people get what they want and young people get screwed is because – Old people vote. Take this activism and go register to vote as soon as you turn 18. Double check to be sure you’re registered. And always be sure to vote.

Elections are largely a statistics game. The politicians need to see certain percentages show at the I MAy Not Be a Biologist But I Know I’m A Woman Shirt but in fact I love this polls in order to take your demographic seriously. If anyone tells you – it’s not worth it – votes don’t count – or anything to the degree that your vote doesn’t count, they do not have your interests at heart at all. Don’t listen to them. Be sure to vote. You can up the activism with volunteering on political campaigns if you research and like a candidate. I am a middle aged person who specifically votes with GenZ. You’re our future. My Gen has been really screwed. I’m hoping to make things better for you. Our civics class in HS (one of those mentioned in the article) gave us extra credit if we registered our senior year if you were old enough One of the biggest things I learned about voting is to research what will be on upcoming election ballots. A lot of bills that you can vote on have extremely misleading wording with the intent to make you vote the wrong way. Saying gay makes people gay..and saying sex makes people pregnant..so obvious..I think I’m having a contraction right now Tell them the bill will pass when it’s amended to make religion illegal to talk about in school and watch them lose their shit.
