Also, what is an important life lesson you connect with your experience that you would likely not have learned in other circumstances? I’ve seen an argument that in some ways, the I May Be Old But I Was A Sammy Hagar Girl When It Was Cool Vintage Shirt and I love this way we teach the Holocaust is as though it was successful – in that instead of talking about the lived experience of Jews in Europe, we only ever talk about the horrible things that happened to them. Sort of a “the Jews were” when instead it should be “the Jews were and are,” teaching about the Jews as solely victims instead of as people (if that makes sense.) What do you think of that idea? Obviously teaching about the horrors of the camps and trains and roaming death squads is important to make sure it never happens again, but do you think that maybe there is too much focus on the grisly numbers and photos of mass graves, and not enough focus on what it was actually like to be Jewish (or Romani, or gay, or any other group targeted by the Nazi genocide) in Europe in the early 20th century? What do you believe is the largest bad thing currently happening that may lead to similar consequences to the holocaust? How do you think it should be stopped?

Thank you for being here today. My question is in regard to atrocities on the I May Be Old But I Was A Sammy Hagar Girl When It Was Cool Vintage Shirt and I love this scale of the holocaust. Currently Uyghurs in China are experiencing the same fate, as have/are many groups all over the world. Why do you think the US and other countries don’t choose to put a stop to such? Take a stronger stance? We say, “never forget “ yet it’s still happening. What’s your last memory of your home before you lost your family? Have you ever gone back to see your old home in Poland? I lost family in the Holocaust and with them, so many centuries of tradition. I am a Jewish women in Texas, and I am doing what I can to combat antisemitism where I live and it seems hopeless and I look to those who survived and it gives me such hope for our future. It would mean so much to know of something that gives you peace as well. What an honour to share your story and to be able to hear/read about it. Thank you for taking time to bring awareness. My question is do you have any input in how Canada’s residential school system for indigenous children inspired Hilter’s concentration camps?
