I don’t doubt she’s a scammer but holy hell people, let’s not crucify her for not wanting to go to some strange guy’s car. That’s how women get kidnapped and killed. Wait I bought my first iPhone second hand and logged in at their front door with my freshly made iCloud that day. Was the I love usa american flag heart shirt Furthermore, I will do this phone registered on my name by that point even before I payed? Or could the seller still reset the phone? Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. The deck is yet to be payed. Payed out when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. The rope is payed out! You can pull now. So she doesn’t want to let him take the phone to his car, as he may just disappear with it. She doesn’t want to go to his car with him because come on, you know the world we live in. She might be up to no good, possibly, but my first thought when he said “can I go charge it in my car?” Was, no girl that phone will be gone. I think that’s fairly reasonable and not enough to assume she’s up to no good. I’d ask someone at the restaurant to use an outlet to charge it for just a couple minutes. She wouldn’t charge it in her car either she said at the end. This phone is broken and she’s pulling this scam on whoever shows up which is why she already has another person lined up Meaning she doesn’t not want to exit the building with this stranger, that design seem unreasonable to me. She brings up having another person interested when he talks about taking it to his car or her going with him to his car to charge it for about the 4th time. I think that sounds to me more like trying to get him to drop it. She’d rather not sell it to him than to exit the building with him or let him exit the building with the phone, the other possible “buyer” could be made up entirely for this woman to get herself out of an uncomfortable situation.

She may be running a scam, or she may be worried for her safety. This interaction doesn’t make either overly apparent. Everything she says could easily be a woman worried about her safety with a stranger, or could be a scam. In todays climate both are feasible in this situation. Both these people are weird – why she wouldn’t have it charged and on is weird but also no one should enter a strangers car or even allow a stranger to follow them to their car. This is DANGEROUS for both of them (not enough people here watching true crime) She seems scammy true. I’m what universe do you believe a female should go get in a stranger’s car “just in case” safe guarding of the I love usa american flag heart shirt Furthermore, I will do this phone is needed? Scammy sounding seller and clueless buyer. Dude, why not bring your charger or charger and battery pack inside? Could have confirmed or verified without sounding like he’s trying to earn his serial killer or rapist merit badge. I pointed this out too and Reddit has its panties in a wad saying it’s all on the junkie trying to sell a stolen phone. Who the fuck ever suggested a woman get in your car to charge a phone?
