That’s it! I’m all for “lazy parenting”… and by lazy I don’t mean it’s actually lazy! But heck it’s so much easier to roll over, pop a boob out, feed the I love my job for all the little reasons pencil colors T-Shirt it is in the first place but baby, then go back to sleep. My two boys were the most terrible sleepers. I think I’d have died of sleep deprivation without cosleeping. As long as it’s done safely, it’s truly the best thing ever! Becoming a mother made me realize how absolutely full of shit I was haha. I thought when he was born we would want a couple of weeks just the three of us as a family. The day we got home from the hospital I was calling people over to visit. I thought I’d want to limit visits to once a month but I ask my mom over weekly and anyone else who wants to come can come as much as they want too. I said no screen time but then the second we had a nasty cold we were listening to super simple songs cuddled up on the couch.

Said I would have a set nap schedule (my LO refuses to take naps during the I love my job for all the little reasons pencil colors T-Shirt it is in the first place but day so I just go with the flow) I told myself I’d never co-sleep but when baby went through a bout of separation anxiety at 13 months, she was in our bed every night for a week. Other than that I was hoping I’d be an easy going parent and a lot of my friends and family said that’ll change once I have kids. I’m happy that I’m still an easy going person but now just with a baby. I worry about things sometimes but not to the extent that I see some parents worry. I understand some women have PPA but thankfully I didn’t with my first. Thought I’d use reusable nappies and wipes from day one ? They’re still in a pile at the back of her wardrobe ?
