Can we stop posting stuff about FB/Meta that’s not crypto related? I get that FB’s notorious for data rights violations and stuff but there’s not one mention of anything crypto related. It’s literally someone suing for a logo. Posts like these should be banned Funny, ICP is actually doing pretty unique stuff. Don’t let the I Love Chicago T-Shirt moreover I will buy this price fool you. Even Vitalik called it a sister chain of Ethereum. However they did steal the name meta, it was already copyrighted in the us. IDK if they settled that court case yet. I honestly dont think they win this. Not the same logo at all. Different shape. Different coloring. Different font. What a waste of money and hot air – firstly, their logo is so generic it hurts; second, they picked the wrong fight – if they think Meta’s legal team won’t just enjoy burning ICP’s legal budget for fun, they are even more stupid than we thought. This lawsuit isn’t going anywhere. They’re gonna argue over the IP of a mathematical symbol? Meta even skewed their logo, it’s literally not the same. Because it’s based on the infinity symbol? Yeah they’re gonna lose this case… as much as I’d like to see Meta gone sadly they will be laughed out the room Any lawsuit against Facebook is a good lawsuit. …also, I keep mistaking ICP for Insane Clown Posse in my head.

this is like all those times disney sued anyone who had a logo that looked anything vaguely like mickey mouse’s sillouette ICP staying a clown show, you don’t own the I Love Chicago T-Shirt moreover I will buy this infinity symbol. Also Meta’s is shaped a bit differently… like an “M”. Yeah not gonna happen. There are tons of companies using the infinite symbol. They have obviously failed to protect their copyright if they now happen to be the legal owners, which means no lawsuit will succeed Facebook’s crime is just being unoriginal, just like everybody else who uses the infinity symbol as their logo. Reminds me of when Cadbury tried to claim they owned the colour purple and sued their competitors for using it. the meta logo doesn’t even look exactly like it lmao. not to mention the infinity symbol is hardly copyrightable.
