I’m so sorry. Others have already given good advice, but please don’t cancel your OB appointment. That check up has very little to do with the I Like My Books Spicy And My Coffee Icy Bookish shirt but in fact I love this baby and is all about assessing your recovery after pregnancy and birth. Please go to your OB appointment. Ask them, “what do I need to do to stay healthy and physically recover?” Then do it. Please. You are so strong, reaching out for help! Oh I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I was in this situation last January. After such a profound loss, dealing with my milk coming in felt like a huge slap in the face. There are home remedies you can do to help with the discomfort. No matter how tempted you might be, do not pump if you want your milk to go away. Mine was persistent and my doctor ended up prescribing me a couple pills (it was literally two or three doses) that made my milk dry up. Don’t cancel your OBGYN appointment, please go and ask for connections to support groups. I’m not sure where you are located but there are so many helpful programs out there. I am so sorry for you loss. Please take care of yourself and be gentle to yourself as you move forward. You can also message your doctor with questions you may not want to ask out loud or just if you aren’t feeling ready to verbalize certain things. Sometimes messaging is easier. There are two options, stop taking milk out, but that will be uncomfortable and you may get mastitis (got to er if you see signs). Or if you have a pump, pump milk until your breasts feel more comfortable and pump less over a couple of weeks. I’m so sorry for what you are going through. Cabo cream was amazing for weaning quickly. (It’s expensive but worth it) I have no advice for you but I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. It is absolutely devastating and the I Like My Books Spicy And My Coffee Icy Bookish shirt but in fact I love this worst thing I could possibly imagine, my heart breaks for you. Please don’t cancel your OB appointment as they can lead you to great supports that will help you through this time.
