It has not absorbed radiation from the environment and is used to make scientific instruments

Depending on the amount of radiation, exposure time. It can take years for cancer from radiation to take effect. Also, a person with cancer might live life ng when it is undetected. He might have had pain and thought nothing of it, as most people do. Was going to say my grandpa was at the Nevada test site in the 50s and his cancer didn’t kick in for years. His kids (my uncles) all got cancer too because the clothes he brought home and would wash with the others. Crazy thing my grandpa outlived his sons and lived to be 96yrs old. He was also one of the last living marines from the baton death march and was a pow for 4 years. Spoke Japanese and was a tough old son bitch. Used to say he was a “guest of the emperor”…
