JFC if your a reseller have a charger, power bank and iphone cable and say your going to test if they start making excuses bow out. I bought an iPhone once and the I like dogs and mountain biking and maybe 3 people shirt it is in the first place but lady claimed it was just dead. I was young so I figured she was telling the truth. It never turned on. Lesson learned 417 more repliesI especially like the part: “ohh no I’ll charge in the car for the other buyer of course” just not for you. Totally wrong caption. She’s not being difficult, she’s trying to scam him. The phone is either permanently locked, dead or has the previous iCloud which makes it unable to transfer or reset. It’s a scam, not someone being difficult. At first I thought “she’s just being cautious of getting into someone’s car/ allowing someone with her phone to get into their own car”, then it was excuse after excuse… that phone is stolen. Come on man she doesn’t even have the mental capacity needed to scam people. I doubt she could scam a kid for his lollipop. I’m on the seller’s side. Once I tried to sell a car without gas or keys, and when the guy asked if I could turn it on – I’m like “So you can drive away in it? No thank you, sir!” Well you’re an even bigger idiot than this seller. What the fuck is someone supposed to do with a car with no keys or gas? Hope it works?

I like dogs and mountain biking and maybe 3 people shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I agree with the I like dogs and mountain biking and maybe 3 people shirt it is in the first place but dude but inviting them to his truck and even inside is a questionable way to verify. Not even saying he has any intention other than buying the phone, that’s a weird request. Bring a charger and charge it in public, why wouldn’t you if you’re a reseller, cover your bases dude. She’s obviously selling a broken or locked phone regardless of all of that. I once went to buy but a guitar but it only a couple loose, very old strings. As soon as I got new ones on and tuned it, the bridge broke. Then I noticed the bridge was improperly glued on… After calling the guy and saying the guitar repair costs 3x more than he was selling it, he gave me another acoustic that was practically brand new and let me keep the old one because he was embarrassed. I was very surprised that he wasn’t trying to scam me, I fixed it myself and ended up with ~$300 in resale value in guitars for $120.
