In fact, a lot of modern tools handle those steps for you (for me, its documentation sites; netlify, vercel, and all the other players will install dependencies and deploy for you). And as for key management? I literally set up my first GCP cloud function last week and getting my python code to access my keys was like 2-3 clicks. All I had to do was confirm the permissions and import the key names to the function. And I barely know Python. Getting access to my secrets was the easiest part. Literally 80% of what he knows how to do, so does chatGPT lol. It’s not hard, it’s just a lot of random shit + a super bloated UI like AWS/GCP. Keep him humble! lol.
