I was in the I just want to go riding and ignore all of my adult problems T-Shirt and I love this UK and listened to a bloke order – “give us a Stella in a Carling glass thanks love, not one of those poofy chalices. Cheers” I think the missing part of the title is the fact that bars in Belgium will literally all have the glassware affiliated with the specific beer you are ordering, and if not ask to substitute glassware. I think it’s fun and quaint and have my own personal collection. I have found that by and large my Belgian glassware is great for most styles. I remember seeing a comment thread on another post that was a YouTube short of a woman using completely wrong glasses for various types of beers. Devolved into mentioning this exact factoid. I was introduced to this when I was backpacking in my early 20s and found ‘t Brugs Beertje in Bruges. I didn’t know how incredible beer could be! Unfortunately I also didn’t realize how much alcohol was in them and the next day was brutal. But still OMG Belgian beer is incredible.

So how does one ethically go on procuring beer glasses. In the I just want to go riding and ignore all of my adult problems T-Shirt and I love this 2 decades I’ve drunk I’ve never been given a beer glass except for ones that come with an offer attached. Not sure how it is in the US, but here you can often buy a beer set from a particular brewery that would include a glass. Keep a lookout for those in specialty stores! Yw, good luck with the search! Come to think of I, there’s probably also websites where did you can order these kind of glasses specially (probably less fun, of course!) You can typically just buy the glasses either from the brewery, in special stores or order on the internet. Big webshops often have them at least in EU. They also often sell sets with x amount of beers plus a glass which are really nice as christmas or birthday gifts.
