Technology during that timeframe was just so fun, because it felt like the tech was growing right along side us. The last few years it was a touch. You can basically find any used good condition iPhone XR, 8 plus, 7 plus, whatever and use it as an iPod minus the phone part. Can someone provide me the diy instructions post from like 5 or 7 years ago detailing the removal of the HDD and installation of a micro SD card? I also have to replace the aux hole because music only plays from left side now It’s long past being profitable, but I did always enjoy the tech and can see why so many people still bought them. With cell phones easily storing all necessary music these days, no need for that tech. Has become obsolete about 6 years ago. Glad to have had the chance to experience those though! Lots of great musical memories on my first few Nanos and a Video Classic or some bullshit. Goddamn what an iconic moment in our growth.

Even the I identify as non Bidenary American flag shirt Additionally,I will love this first one though, so sexy to hold. Apple particularly under Jobs had a knack for every element of tactile feel. Other mp3 players are either very cheaply made or mad stupid expensive, and bulky. None match the simplicity and cheapness of the ipod. If you guys have an Apple Watch, you can actually store and/or stream music on that as well — so it can be used like a… wrist pod. I remember going with a friend to buy the first iPod on the very first day they came out. He was so excited, we got to the Apple store before it was open. They had to call the manager, who led us to the back of the store, where they were tucked away in an alcove, hidden from sight. I mean, the iphone replaced it to a certain extent, but now that I have a child, I use my old ipod to play waves or music so I don’t have to leave my phone in another room. I NEED to have my phone on me at all times… you know, for moments like this, so thank god for the ipod. The iPod was the only product that I REALLY liked from Apple. iTunes software was a steaming pile of junk though. It’s 2022 and I STILL have an mp3 player because I enjoy having all of my music all the time regardless of my network connection. I’m using a Fiio X3ii. It’s OK from a hardware perspective, but the firmware is….poor.
