I think the I Hate Pulling Out Camping Travel Camper Mountain Vintage Sunset T-Shirt In addition,I will do this government should stop securing student loans independent of degree choice. That’s insane. Of course banks will give money to anyone when the government all but guarantees they’ll make money no matter what. Can’t even default. Exactly. They can name it however your want but it’s hard to survive without education. It’s entrapment in its worst form… They did it with housing for ages too and look what happened. I was terrified of losing my job during the entirety of covid and being pushed to a point where my life savings evaporated over the course of several months. Because of that fear, and not wanting to be pushed into an impossible situation, I paid off $40,000 worth of student loans with my savings singularly because Biden said he wouldn’t even discuss student loan forgiveness. Now all of a sudden it’s on the table again as a reelection talking point, and people want me not to be mad after forfeiting my life savings just so I didn’t enter crippling poverty with a $700/mo student loan payment if I lost my job?

It’s perfectly okay for me to be pissed. I worked 100 hours a week for almost 5 years to build that nest egg. And it’s fucking gone. I’m back to living paycheck to paycheck as if the I Hate Pulling Out Camping Travel Camper Mountain Vintage Sunset T-Shirt In addition,I will do this last 5 years didn’t even happen and now, even if there is relief, I won’t qualify because I tried doing the right thing. It’s not that I don’t support student loan forgiveness because I won’t be affected now, I’m simply tired of being completely raw-dog fucked by my own Government. Has anyone thought of banning the distribution of student loans so that no one would be able to afford college and they would have to lower their tuition I’ve noticed that a lot of Americans don’t like public works projects unless it directly benefits them. Case in point my old high school. It was twice over capacity, with the last major renovations occuring in the mid 90’s. Ceiling tiles would regularly fall onto students and most clocks had tangles of live wire stuffed behind them. I had a rusted pipe break over me and dose me with rust water my sophomore year. As a community, we put out somewhere in the ballpark of 100 referendums and they always get shot down. The major reason aside from monetary that people voted no was because it wouldn’t be completed while their kid was in school. The rugged individualism that the US brands trickles all the way down to individual community and that shocks me. We have another referendum coming up, and though I have no kids of my own I’ll be voting yes. A quality school is up there with quality libraries and parks for me, they really make a community wonderful.
