I feel ya, we had three days in Oregon almost hit 120 degrees and it was horrible, I can’t imagine having to do multiple waves of that in the I drink coffee for your protection T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this spring. I fear we will see portions of the planet be uninhabitable within the next 50 years. Mumbai guy here. I’m into long distance cycling. A week back, was with 2 of my fellow cyclists completing a 100km island loop, when one of us skidded on gravel and fell. Nothing too serious, but time lost due to resultant injury, transport to hospital, and location of fall meant we were cycling back home at 1 in the afternoon. I have pretty high heat tolerance, but that moment I felt like I am gonna faint, it was a cauldron. It was a race against time to reach home so couldn’t really take too many stops. One of the very few times where I was legitimately scared for my life just due to the heat.

Sure it’s hot every year, but this year is something else. I fear we are on an irreversible decline. I hope India and Pakistan band together and come up with some sort of billion tree tsunami like initiative to counter this heatwave. And when it’s too late and the weather just kills off any trees you try and get going? Shame we didn’t see it coming decades ago…. If anyone is dealing with this personally, be aware that the ground temperature is much more stable than surface temperature. Even if the surface is unliveable, the temperature ~6 feet underground will be much more normal. If you have a yard, it’s not crazy to dig a cellar and run power and ethernet into it and hang out down there when the temperature is unliveable. Tunisia used to do dwellings this way (as famously seen in Star Wars). See:

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
