You need one bag of a useful size for each occasion, for example work, casual and evening. For some occasions you may need a second bag of a different size, for example an extra large work bag or a tiny evening bag. And occasionally a third bag as well. What you don’t need are a dozen different colours or trims, or ten evening bags (especially if you don’t go out much). I nest them, but it only works if you’ll remember what you have. So I have a clutch in a cross body bag in a structured tote, and the I Don’t Trip Do Random Vintage Sunset Paragliding Paraglider Hang Glider Pilots Quotes T-Shirt besides I will buy this tote sits on the shelf. But most of my little small clutches I put in a smallish basket and they’re standing on end in it like books on a shelf In addition to the ideas mentioned I have a storage locker in my building and I put my “summer bags” away there (like the ones made of straw, rattan etc) and will swap when it changes seasons.

I do like displaying some bags so I keep them above a large shelf/wardrobe thing so they are quite visible but not in the I Don’t Trip Do Random Vintage Sunset Paragliding Paraglider Hang Glider Pilots Quotes T-Shirt besides I will buy this way. Also I hang some off both sides of my stand up mirror because it has knobs but I don’t know if this recommended depending on the stability of the mirror lol I stuff my purses to help them keep their shape and then store them in plastic display boxes that I bought on Amazon. Thin the herd. Stuff your bags with rolled t-shirts or socks so they don’t get squashed. But mostly, get rid of ones you aren’t using. I stuff mine with tissue then recycle all of those canvas (real cotton canvas) gift bags. The Record Store Day bags in particular. I keep them on the top two shelves because I can’t reach those without a step ladder anyway. Some people have suggested filling the purses to keep their shape and another option to use as a filling is bubble wrap or those big air bags that are sometimes used in online deliveries. I found tissue flattens over time. You can get a massive roll of bubble wrap from DIY type shops if you don’t regularly order online. Get some pool noodles and cut them to fit the shape, it’s easier to take in and out then instead of tshirts that you might want to wear or a mess of tissues. I found a hanging option on Amazon with clear slots that i store my purses in. Takes minimal space in the closet. All the spot are currently filled so that is my purse limit.Ask a fish to describe water. There are these two young fish swimming along and they happen to meet an older fish swimming the other way, who nods at them and says “Morning, boys. How’s the water?” And the two young fish swim on for a bit, and then eventually one of them looks over at the other and goes “What the hell is water?”
