I feel like I have built a family for myself. I didn’t grow up in a loving circle and now I feel.like I have support. I don’t think I would have done that with kids due to being the I Don’t Struggle With Autism I’m Actually Very Good At It T-Shirt it is in the first place but one having to do the support. My wife doesn’t want kids, and I’m sort of ambivalent about them, so it’s an easy call. We both enjoy each other’s company, the freedom to do what we want when we want, and having the extra money for it. Neither of us feels any particular need to try to clone ourselves, or leave some kind of legacy. We’re just living our lives for as long as those last, and then we’re out of here. There’s no shortage of kids in the world. The human race will go on without ours. So we’re going to take this opportunity to be the directors of our own story, and there doesn’t need to be a sequel. I earnestly believe life is painful (and likely to get worse, from a macro perspective) and it’s unethical to force it on someone without consent.

There’s the I Don’t Struggle With Autism I’m Actually Very Good At It T-Shirt it is in the first place but obvious stuff like how you lose all your free time, sleep, and a lot of money. But other than that, i just haven’t felt the need to have a child, so I don’t think it’s wise to have one unless i’m absolutely 100% certain that’s what i want. In addition to that, human civilisation is going through change at a rate never before seen in all of our history. I don’t think it’s moral to bring a child into a world that you couldn’t comfortably predict what it may look like in 20 years. Also, we’re getting quite close to having populated the entire earth, and i’m not sure society can handle another 8 billion people. Too expensive, barely any time in my life to take care of a kid, doubting my ability to be a good father, I like being alone with just my friends and family. I’d be a great parent. Except I have a chronic incurable illness for which the main symptom is extreme fatigue. I need my quiet time far too much.
