I’ll take a step back and honestly admit something — as much as we (and all the I don’t snore i dream i’m a snowmobile vintage T-Shirt in addition I really love this devs we work with) aim for the highest quality, there will always be some bugs left over. What matters is the amount and the impact on the player experience. We will do everything possible to minimize them though! This is a troll comment, or at least pretty brain dead “25 seems like a lot for this type of graphics, and reviews say you should fix your first game!” Anyone who has actually played xenonauts 1 and likes these types of games knows that the support for that game, and the experience of playing it was at least a 4 out of 5. I personally would give it 5 out of 5, but xcom ufo defense was my favorite game of all time so im bias. No one can debate the support for x1 though… the community update was massive and support for modding was incredible. There is no excuse for harrassing the publisher/dev like this. Fuck this guy.

You clearly don’t care about those games and you came here just to talk absolute nonsense while making sure that people on this thread will see how little you care about the I don’t snore i dream i’m a snowmobile vintage T-Shirt in addition I really love this game that you claim to not care about. First game was mostly good, not buggy for me. Fun mix of strategic planning and tactical combat set against a unique background. Xenonauts 1 was perfectly playable. If there were any bugs, I never even noticed them. Which is more than I can say for many AAA games. We aren’t certain of steam deck compatibility plans yet. It’s not something that will be focussed on prior to release — as we wouldn’t want to delay release — but it might be something to look into post-release. Also we’ve had a game we published never intentionally try to work on steamdeck (was planning on looking into post-release) and then the release version comes out working fine and gets a verified rating, so one never does know.
