Almost like india has a billion + people, and everyone is their own person. It’s not part of our culture. If the same thing was the convention in west, we would be like “why did you smile, you’re supposed to not smile and don’t make eye contact with them”. The demanding part is true but they should know it’s not all indians. I’ve seen plenty of demanding white people as well, they don’t get generalized. I’ve flown Lufthansa and several US airlines domestically and I’ve never had this experience. Among western airlines I’ve heard that Air France is the worst but I’ve never flown them.

As a dark skinned South Indian, I can assure you that some of the I don’t need therapy just need to watch the ropers shirt moreover I love this worst flying experiences I’ve had were in India Agree, as a dark skinned Indian I have experienced discriminative behavior in India than abroad. But again I have spent far less time abroad. If she had a premium economy ticket why the fuck would she go and sit in economy when there are empty seats in premium economy If she had a premium economy, she would have already been in a premium economy. The fact that she had to ask meant she didn’t have premium. Really? That’s so weird. I’ve flown Lufthansa so many times from Berlin or Frankfurt to Bombay, and I love their service. Since I speak German, I always greet them with a “Hallo!” or any other German greeting, and they’re over the moon. One flight, my friends and I were flying to BOM from FFM, and they gave us a tour of the 747 once we landed, even saw the cockpit and first class cabin just coz we chatted them up a bit here n’there mid flight. Funnily on the same flight, a lot of Indians were just being downright crass with the stewards and stewardesses. They were visibly frustrated by random orders from several Indians around us. Can you blame them. While I know there are many racist cabin crew out there. Some Indian passengers are worst of worst. I remember very clearly one guy beside me in Air France kept on harassing flight attendants for more alcohol. Finally she rudely told me him no like a little child and then he calmed down while still laughing. Some childish unkills from Kaneda ruin it for all of us.
