Then there are plenty of weird and not-so-modern game design decisions like timed missions where you have to either free civilians from some abduction devices/tubes or steal memory sticks from an office building. I’ve been looking forward for this game for quite some time, eating up all the flakes of info that manages to get out on the steam blog every month. Man it’s been some time, I remember expecting to see it launched in 2019 and talking to a coworker about how hyped I was. I’m a game developer myself (even used to be indie) so as a client I do like when things get delayed. Crunch is horrible and game designers comming up with better ideas late, things changing all the time are common for indies and gives me trust on a better game in the end.

Hope it goes well, I had wishlisted this game a long time ago lol. What I’ve seen and heard, it is 1:1 remake of the 1994 game ‘UFO: Enemy unknown’. I really hated the official remake; the 2012 ‘XCOM: Enemy Unknown’ (complete trash), so I’m reaaaaaaaaally lookin forward to this, because I’m the original fans of the original game from the 90s It isn’t a 1:1 remake and the first xenonauts wasn’t either. Lotta quality of life and streamlining (instead of, *shudders*, buying individual magazines). Also made the aliens less cartoony and more ‘realistic’ with intriguing lore and plot-points, such as a reason for how 80s jets can down a UFO.
