The difference is with the I don’t like morning people or mornings or people shirt moreover I will buy this purpose of the abbreviation and making abbreviations up on the spot. For example, if you say DS2 (Dark Souls 2) – it’s perfectly fine. If you introduce a term in an article and abbreviate it and keep using that abbreviation, it’s fine. But I’ve seen several times where people make shit up for no reason. For example: “When I was walking around the city, I saw this man and TTIM (Thought That I Might) ask him for directions”. There’s no such abbreviation, it doesn’t save anyone’s time, it’s not needed, it doesn’t make the author special. Dark Souls 2? Dead Space 2? Death Stranding 2 isn’t even out yet. Dark Siders 2? Is that even a thing? Demon Souls 2? Is that a thing? I play DS2 on repeat. Future Peaked when he put out Dirty Sprite 2 and he’ll never top it. Wall to wall bangers.

Once on a forum, a girl asked to recommend some fighting games cause she was completely new to the I don’t like morning people or mornings or people shirt moreover I will buy this genre. First response? Around 20 abbreviations like SFT5, MLK3, DR2I etc. I still sometimes remember it randomly and laugh at stupidity. Ultimate super hyper street fighter 7 turbo championship tournament anniversary collection deluxe arcade edition EX4 plus alpha 3 I have 10 online friends and none of them use acronyms while playing because we all agree that we’re too stupid to remember what each one is. Example: if I’m talking about FF (Final Fantasy) I should do what I just did and define it, rather than assume everyone knows I’m talking about Final Fantasy and not Final Fight or FanFiction or Friendly Fire or a Ferarri FF or Free Fire etc etc etc.
