We all had to take a few responsibilities and as I was famously lazy I was told I could be excused physical labour etc if I paid for the I Dig Dinosaurs T-Rex Fossils Paleontology Vintage Lines T-Shirt and I will buy this parking. I found a machine up the street for tickets and put a couple of pounds in. Neither was accepted and the machine wouldn’t give them back. I hit it once and one fell out. I hit it twice and 2 fell out. I hit it again and another 2 fell out. There’s a horse-racing track in my city, and one summer my pals and I spent damn near every weekend there, mostly because we liked the pub on site. But we’d always do a couple of bets on the horses for fun, nothing serious, just a couple of dollars on a horse here and there. Every time, I’d bet $3 on #3, no matter the horse. Each time, the bet paid out exactly $3. So each time I won enough for another beer. This happened like 3-4 weekends in a row, and we’d joke that I was just there to get my free beer and then go home.

Slightly similar story. A change machine in a bowling alley. Put in a quid and 10x ten pence were supposed to come out, instead 10x £1 coins came out. Me and a few mates made about £70 each that day. I had the I Dig Dinosaurs T-Rex Fossils Paleontology Vintage Lines T-Shirt and I will buy this same thing but with a vending machine, it stole my money so I went ape shit on the return button and then finally it dispensed like 30$, if I waited a day the same thing would happen consistently I made a couple hundred. I made the mistake of telling my coworker and everytime I’d walk by said vending machine he was going ham on it. Machine got fixed within a week Could never have done it, knowing eventually it would all come crashing down. Plus, not knowing he’d get off relatively easy. The anxiety woulda killed me in a week. That’s what he talks about in the interview. He never got caught, he just felt super guilty and told the bank. They didn’t do anything so he told his story to the media and then it was finally taken seriously.
