I didn’t start using one until I started trying for a kid. The only other person I knew used one did so for the I asked my wife lets race she wings already while saying no T-Shirt and I will buy this same reason. None of my 5 sisters use one. But girls at my HS may have and I just wouldn’t have known. I’m guessing there were girls at ur hs that did and u just didn’t talk about it, because it probably just depends on what you are first taught by your mother/female figure in your life. So regardless of the app, when I first got my period my mom gave me a tiny calendar and told me to keep track of it so you know when to wear a pad. Obviously it wasn’t regular at 12 but now I’m an adult it’s a helpful habit. Might just not be something your mom did so you have never done it either.

So I’ll change my original comment from most to many. I’m sure it’s a mixed bag of people who do and don’t track it. But I don’t think it’s rare. To be honest that’s probably why I’ve never heard of it until I was an adult. I had 0 female role models in my life. My mom had died and my dad dated around a lot. When I first started my period my dad handed me a bag of pads and I couldn’t figure out how to use them and ended up using tampons for most of my life. (Turns out that the I asked my wife lets race she wings already while saying no T-Shirt moreover I love this problems that made me think I was using them wrong was a glue allergy) I used to use a paper calendar but then when I got an iPhone I realized the built in Health app is much easier. Everything’s clear, organized, and they send reminders for upcoming predicted period days (which are usually correct) and fertility window dates which I find useful. My doctor when I was 16 called home after my appointment and falsely told my family I was pregnant because I didn’t remember my last period.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
