I got a brain scan at 6am and the I am kenough lapd and ken barbie movie T-Shirt but in fact I love this scan tech said my doc would be in touch in 3 days. I was surprised to get a call 3 hours later from my doctor saying he needed to see me as soon as I could manage. I drove there with tears streaming down my face assuming it was a tumor and my days were numbered. I even asked the other patients in his waiting room to skip in line and told them why….still with tears. First thing he said when he saw me was ‘Its not a tumor, don’t worry’. He seriously could have managed that better. Turns out it was sinusitis giving me that 3 week headache and the shadow was from a head injury from 40 years previous. I went to my PCP in tremendous pain with a large lump on my lower back. He gave me some stretches and told me to lose weight (145 LB @5’8″). Found out during ER visit that it was a grade 3 spondylolisthesis with spondylolisis. My back was literally broken, and the top of my spine was slipping off the bottom. What a dummy. Just because you can get through medical school doesn’t make you smart.

Last time I got my height measured at the I am kenough lapd and ken barbie movie T-Shirt but in fact I love this doctor, the nurse tried to tell me I was 5’2 (I am 5’6) when I told her I thought that was wrong she legit just told me I was in denial of being short lmao Wasn’t to me but towards my dad. He went to the doctor with severe headaches, trouble breathing and swallowing, and not able to hear. Was told it was a little sinus infection, and I quote, “Stop being a baby about this.” Turns out he had lymphoma and a tumor in his sinuses the size of an orange that was pushing on his brain. By the time the Dr caught it, it had progressed to stage 4. The oncologist told us that if the original doctor had done his job properly 2 years ago, it would have been curable, now, not so much. Unfortunately, when this started the original doctor was the only ENT specialist available in their area so a second opinion was a 200 mile trip, but looking back, it would have definitely been worth it.
