They left a 6 year old and a one year old alone in the Houston Astros MLB Take October 2023 Postseason shirt and I love this house? Makes sense they would also be irresponsible with firearms too A law recently signed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer will require gun owners to keep guns in a locked storage box or container when it is “reasonably known that a minor is or is likely to be present on the premises.” That legislation takes effect in 2024. This broke me. You’re telling me that there are currently no laws on how to store your guns? You’re telling me that this CRUCIAL law only accounts for when it’s “reasonably known that a minor is likely to be present on the premises” and not “At all times except with direct intent to use firearm or transport it to a proper firing range”? Well as the founding fathers said, “the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of toddlers and bystanders”

And those that knock on your door by mistake. Or pull down your driveway. Or accidently toss a ball into your yard and try to retrieve it. Look, it takes a lot of blood. How do you not immediately charge the Houston Astros MLB Take October 2023 Postseason shirt and I love this parents in this situation? I don’t understand the hesitation. Nobody sane would defend them. Goddamnit, if you own a gun, own a fucking safe to lock it in. And if it wasn’t a revolver then I’m inclined to believe there was already a round chambered, a lot of semi-autos require a decent amount of strength to chamber a round. Not saying a 6-year old couldn’t but I think it would make it more difficult for them to do so or even realize that they had to chamber a round in order for the weapon to fire. At the least buy a trigger lock and keep it unloaded, doesn’t take half a second to pop a magazine in or drop in speed-loader or a moon clip if it’s a revolver. See, what was needed was a good child with a gun, to shoot this child before he was able to shoot the infant. If we just went ahead and armed all children, we could prevent tragedies like this from happening.
