Well when you force people to buy expensive chargers separately, and the Hotel Diablo T-Shirt But I will love this iPencil separately, and change the ports on your devices so they have to buy new cables, and make nothing backwards compatible. You’re probably going to see an increase in revenue. I wonder just how far Apple users will let themselves get schemed out of money. Most Apple users are happy with their products, but I wonder if that’s not just some form of choice supported bias, or spending that much money must mean it’s that much better I don’t know anyone who had or wanted an iPencil. I have never seen one and forgot they existed. I can guarantee you it’s not a money maker. iPhones changed charging ports once. For every phone they’ve made since 2007, it either charges with one cable or the other. Changing ports once hardly seems excessive. Chargers… I guess you could complain about those, but almost everyone really does have a ton of chargers around. Nobody I know suddenly had to buy a charger with their new phone, they just used one of the half dozen they already had. They’re probably cheaper than a phone case or decent screen protector.

If you prefer other products that’s fine, but it’s weird how some people apparently want to manufacture reasons to get angry about a company. I mean people do have legitimate criticisms about their anti consumer and anti repair practices and it’s weird how some people defend those practices just because it’s Apple and they make really solidly built and slick pieces of tech. In Apple’s defense, they at least seem to be making some progress in some of these things. I’ve been on Android for years and am thinking of switching over, but the Hotel Diablo T-Shirt But I will love this fact that a phone might not come with something that it literally needs to function and that I will need to buy new earphones because my wired ones aren’t compatible is some real goofy shit in 2022. Just because you know people that have chargers from previous iPhones doesn’t mean these complaints aren’t valid and people aren’t just making up reasons to get angry. I don’t hate Apple, I don’t get angry about them, but the fact that I can spend $400, $600 or a thousand dollars on an iPhone and I still have to pay extra to get a fucking charger is ridiculous. Surely you see that, right? I have chargers all over the place… and USB ports in several wall outlets… and USB ports on my computers… PLUS I prefer a wireless charger on my nightstand.
