Remember that life is about balance. Sounds like right now your pendulum is in the Horror Movie Characters Dutch Bros Coffee Halloween shirt and by the same token and game obsession end of the arc. You will probably have to put it in the no gaming end for a bit before you can find the middle point. Best of luck! I experienced this with Gwent. All the best spiritual practices in the world won’t help you. Somehow we’re just hard-wired to ‘obsess’. Incidentally, I have a clear mind most of the time and meditate a lot. I don’t feel I lack any sort of discipline to overcome this and yet it still happens on the rarest of occasion. It usually takes weeks to build up though and would involve someone playing the game repeatedly throughout the day. My mind flickered with broken strategies for the game even though I’m able to keep my mind completely quiet for long moments it wouldn’t quit.

Simply letting it go for a bit was the Horror Movie Characters Dutch Bros Coffee Halloween shirt and by the same token and best remedy. A couple of days and I was able to play again just like I wanted to. It only happened twice and I put over 1000 hours into that game. It’s rough. Clash of clans+clash Royale for me. In the past it happened with gta I’d be seeing waypoints in the toilet when stoned. And with payday 2. When I was doing construction I used a jackhammer all day and would see concrete breaking behind my eyes that night. So it’s not necessarily from games only, they’re just so much more vivid. Like I said on another comment, the fast refresh rate with the bright screen really burns it in. All the best I can relate to the fast refresh rate comment. I believe it has something to do with how it flows differently when compared with everything else in your life. I played Overwatch on on of those 500% servers one time and that stuff took a while to get out of my head. You’re moving so fast so your mind mimics life moving at that speed for a while. Just tricks from a tricksters bag. No need to freak or change who you are. Just be aware of the effect it has on you.
