Probably a pretty good bar owner too. The owner doesn’t want bad publicity that would occur if a customer killed someone after drunk driving. In Texas, the Home Of The Wicked Witch And Her Pack Of Dog Halloween shirt also I will do this sever and the establishment can be held liable in civil court if they over serve someone who hurts someone or causes property damage after being over served. It’s called Dram Shop. They have these laws in multiple states and it’s so dumb. People can present as sober after being served elsewhere, have a few drinks, get in an accident, and it’s somehow the bartenders fault for not knowing what they did earlier or that they were planning to drive? Drunk drivers suck. Not arguing that they shouldn’t be punished by any means. But stop trying to spread blame around to people that had nothing to do with it.

Those laws usually only kick in if the Home Of The Wicked Witch And Her Pack Of Dog Halloween shirt also I will do this bar continues serving someone after they were already visibly intoxicated, or it was a minor who they shouldn’t have served at all. It’s literally the responsibility of the bar to not over-serve people, bartenders have been cutting people off for hundreds of years. Loads of clubs in the city by me used to so this, they probably still do I’m just not a club guy anymore because im old. I always thought it was a great idea that the DD could get soft drinks, coffees/teas whatever and like chicken wings, chips and other snack foods. It’s such a great idea ya seriously. There was local bar near me that had the best chicken tenders. Used to go there just for that and maybe a coke or club soda. They were great to me, but I didn’t tip extra because I didn’t order any drinks. Obviously sitting down at a bar or booth and just ordering water or like a unlimited soda refill is lame but that’s clearly not the case.
