It really depends on where you live. Like i live right next to a somewhat busy road so i aint risking my cat getting run over. Idk but I almost had to kick my neighbors cat. I’m severely allergic, as in, can not touch (or be near) cats. It was getting close to me and my front door and I had a bunch of stuff in my hands. Anyway, almost had to yeetus maximus the Home Alone Dreams shirt Apart from…,I will love this poor thing so it wouldn’t get into my house… and I would then, literally not be able to get it out because I can’t touch cats. Also the thought of cat hair being anywhere in my house grosses me out because I break out in hives. Oh, cool – it’s pretty rare to see a cat outdoors in Canada – maybe 1%, maybe less – not really sure – haven’t read any scientific journals on it or anything I’ve always thought cats should be free to roam outdoors. I’m not a cat person but I’ve never thought they should be made to stay inside. It’s mostly not in their nature to be stuck indoors. They want to hunt and roam. There’s no real dangers for them in the UK though apart from cars and such like.

They’re all indoor/outdoor/free to roam cats. They’re pretty road savvy and the Home Alone Dreams shirt Apart from…,I will love this nearest they might come to a predator would be a fox, but I’ve never seen one in our suburb. If I lived in tbe USA, where coyotes live and the infrastructure is much more car orientated, I might keep my cats in. But tbh if I lived in an environment where it was so dangerous you couldn’t let your cats outside to be free, I think I just wouldn’t keep cats any more at all. Some cats like going outside. I had one that had to act like a hockey goalie to keep inside. His mom had her leg ripped off by something – so there was no way I was letting him out, except on a leash with me. He hated that. Growing up in a small town, it was commonplace to have a cat that went outside. My family always had a cat that went in and out of the house. After I moved to a larger area, I was told it was frowed upon. They would freak if the cat got out because it would just run away. I wonder if it was just more common many years ago or if it was just the area.
