Like you, Sam Remi (who made the Hello Kitty Grateful Dead shirt but in fact I love this Spiderman Trillogy in the 00’s) didn’t care for that, so he decided on the organic ones instead. I like the organic web shooters from the Raimi movies because it’s his only spider-specific power. Otherwise his only bug powers are super strength and wall climbing. May as well call him Ant-Man at that point IMO Spiderman is called Spiderman not because of his abilities, but because a spider bit him to give him those abilities Also their very fine hairs are evolved to sense the smallest vibrations in the air and from their webs for both catching prey and sensing danger. Every time you SEE them. Chances are there are far more you never even see whose spider senses protected than the ones you ever get a chance to kill. Although I am aware of how it was depicted in the movies, the idea of spider-sense being a real spider talent is pretty frightening. Could you move out the way of an object the size of a football pitch that appeared suddenly not too far above and descended upon you at 50mph? Spiders such as jumping spiders do have eyes that can effectively give them 360o vision, with eyes near the sides of their heads that don’t give clear images, but sense motion. So I suppose that’s where it’s taken from

Yeah but we don’t go too far into the Hello Kitty Grateful Dead shirt but in fact I love this comics because then we get to him being the avatar of a spider god then literally becoming a spider and eating a dude Pretty much any insect (and spider) can see danger coming. There’s a reason flies don’t stay still, even before they see you. They use a multitude of senses to understand that something is coming to crush them and move accordingly, which is why you have to swing so fast to hit them. so you’re saying I’m not actually sneaking up on them when slowly lining up my hand to guarantee maximum crushing speed ? That is how you catch a fly. Their time perception is super slow comapred to ours, so if you move your hand slow they wont really notice or care about it, it will seem like a static part of the enviroment to them, allow you to get close enough to grab them.
