When I went to board, they stopped me stating I have too much hand luggage ( 2 hand luggage- avoided any check in and also I Gold card holder) Just because I was taking a regular line to board, they stopped, even without looking at ticket they said too much luggage and asked me to step aside.. tone only changed when I showed my ticket and card)

I don’t think its a Lufthansa only problem, had exact same experience with Qatar in Doha at biz class boarding lane. They were boarding economy pax there since we reached gate late from our lounge. Same argument about no space for 2 carryons when they finally shrugged it off and let us through when I showed biz class ticket.
