The ways clubs shift that blame are racist. They use coded language to talk about how they’re excluding Black clients. Clubs often won’t let Black dancers play rap music because it’s “not their customer base.” They don’t want to “attract a bad crowd.” The reason people aren’t drawing racks—filling up the hard core avocado Classic T-Shirt and I love this seats closest to the stage where tipping dancers for every song is expected—is because the clubs aren’t playing rap music—and it’s not N.W.A anymore, it’s Cardi B. Then they turn around and won’t hire Black dancers because they don’t have Black clients. It’s a catch-22. As long as they don’t involve any part of our culture, they can say that it’s not their “scene” and make hiring decisions based on that.

hard core avocado Classic T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Marginalized people get told that we’re not trying hard enough all the hard core avocado Classic T-Shirt and I love this time. That there is something broken in us. That we can’t adjust to the system that is set up to completely tear us apart, piece by fucking piece, until we’re literally dead. I’ve lost three Black sex worker friends to suicide this year. There’s a societal burden that has been placed on Black, Indigenous American, and transgender people, and/or people of color (BITPOC), and it’s deadly.
